A German solo-founder studio's open-source tunneling tool that hands your local dev server a public HTTPS URL, with a small paid hosted tier for teams.

Expose is built by Beyond Code GmbH, a small German software studio run out of Kerken, near Düsseldorf. It is an open-source, PHP-based tunneling client that developers can either self-host or run against Beyond Code’s own managed edge network.

The hosted service handles TLS certificate issuance, custom domains, and basic team access controls, sitting on top of a free “Hobby” tier and paid per-user or per-team annual plans. Compared to larger competitors, it is a much smaller operation, but it is a genuinely distinct, EU-run alternative built by a company with no US ownership.
