openDesk
🇩🇪Open-source office and collaboration suite for public administration, developed by the German federal government's ZenDiS GmbH in Bochum.
openDesk is a sovereign workplace suite built for public administration, developed since January 2024 by the Zentrum für Digitale Souveränität der Öffentlichen Verwaltung (ZenDiS GmbH), a state-owned company registered in Bochum, Germany, on commission from the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
It integrates eleven open-source components behind one interface: mail, calendar, contacts, chat, video calls, collaborative documents, file storage, notes, knowledge management, project and task tools, plus identity and access management. Because every component is open source and deployable on-premises, authorities can run the whole stack inside their own infrastructure.
