Scalingo is a smaller, founder-led French PaaS that has focused since 2015 on giving developers a git-push deployment experience while keeping every byte of customer data on French soil. It runs exclusively on infrastructure carrying the SecNumCloud qualification, a certification specifically aimed at government and regulated-industry sovereignty requirements.

The platform covers the usual PaaS conveniences — managed databases, automatic TLS, horizontal scaling — aimed at Ruby, Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, Elixir and Go apps. Its pitch to European buyers is less about scale and more about auditable, sovereign infrastructure paired with human, French-language support.

It remains privately held and investor-backed rather than a subsidiary of a larger group.
